We were approached by Hillgrove PR to design and code a website for Entrepreneur, committed charity supporter and family woman Krista Waddell, who is the founder and CEO of Ounces2Pounds, a company which buys gold and precious metals from the general public in the UK, USA and Australia.
Motivated by our effective launch of promocodes.co.uk a few weeks earlier, we were keen to add to our successful series of websites so paid special attention to creating a truly bespoke website design.
Despite being just a personal site for Krista, it has many advanced features that make it anything but basic. A News/blog feed was needed so that Krista can keep her followers updated with all the latest news on Gold trading, video embedding so that people can see all of Krista’s tv interviews on one site and an image gallery slider using jQuery to provide extra information to people who are thinking about holding their own gold parties.
