eCommerce Glamping Holiday Website design and development

Partner James Small, is very passionate about the farm, which has been in the family for over 200 years.

James and his family are always looking for innovative ways to keep the farm busy and in keeping with the natural environment. With this in mind James approached us to design him an eCommerce Glamping Holiday Website that could promote the variety of services they provide on their farm, which varies from being a wedding venue, a place to go ‘Glamping’ – glamorous camping, a working farm and filming locations. All located in the heart of the Mendip Hills, sitting atop the World famous Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, the highest inland cliffs in England.

James is also keen to keep up appearances, he is very active on social networks and keeps his fans updated with all things new happening on the farm. All of this was taken into consideration when we started to design and build the website. The site itself utilises the beautiful landscape in which the farm is set (on top of the Mendip Hills in Somerset) and the colour palette is sympathetic too. The website is developed on WordPress to provide future flexibility should and when the site is further developed.

The website includes jQuery image sliders, dynamically updated content scripts, a quick contact form and social network icons with calls to action and outbound links so visitors can visit directly.

As well as designing and developing Warren Farm’s website, we also helped them set up their website hosting and domain name.
