James Small, partner at Warren Farm asked us for a logo design that reflects the location of Warren Farm. The farm is perched, approximately 900 feet above sea level, with stunning views in all directions, most notably down in to the Cheddar valley. Warren Farm are a multifaceted business that have diversified to the survive as a working farm. As well as being a working farm (with a herd of Aberdeen Angus cross Whitbred Beef Shorthorns and flock of sheep, comprising Speckle Face and Beulah ewes, Blue Faced Leicester, Beulah, Texel and Charollais rams), Warren farm also offers ‘Glamping’ and filming locations, with Robin of Sherwood, Casualty and Famous Five all being filmed there over the years.
Sketches in the style that James liked
To start the project, armed with a camera, we obviously had a wander around the farm to experience the views for ourselves and get some snaps of the area. Once we had decided what views were best to work with (whilst consulting with James) we got to work producing some sketches in the style that James liked. Once happy with the style and composition of the chosen concept it was taken to the computer to be re-drawn in a vector format. The final version was supplied to James and various file formats and several colourways.
Thanks for reading. As you've got this far, we assume you're thinking about hiring a graphic designer? We'd love to find out more.
