The Dyspraxia Foundation, now based in Hitchin was founded in 1987 by two mothers of children diagnosed with the condition. Back then it was called The Dyspraxia Trust. At the time there were no facilities to support or help those with the condition. Stunned and confounded by this they decided to form their own group to help others. In 1996 the charity changed its name to the Dyspraxia Foundation. Today the Dyspraxia Foundation deals with approx 10,000 enquiries and distributes more than 20,000 leaflets every year.
We are very proud to be able to help the Dyspraxia Foundation with their commitment to teaching, advising, helping make schools, medical professionals and workplace institutions more aware of dyspraxia.
